Service Description

Technical Skills: Good deceptive stroke execution under pressure. Fast and accurate court movement and positioning. Good tactics, shot selection and tactical decisions. Understanding of badminton rules and behavioral expectations. Thrives on competition. Tactical Skills: Understands the effectiveness of advanced strokes. Better able to control pace of rally and positional advantages. Begins to grasp the importance of decision making/training as they pertain to technical flows. Physical Capacity: Key stage for building strength, speed and power. Continue building strength, develop anaerobic capacity and on-court endurance. Mental Skills: Self-directed annual goal setting. Competition strategy developed and used. Error prevention and error recovery strategies used. Life Skills: Takes full responsibility for training and competition preparation. Can comfortably travel to events. Balances badminton and school.
